Our ongoing work spans several areas connected by a shared goal: strengthening the verifiability and transparency of elections at every level. Current areas of focus include:
Audit Advocacy — promoting statistically sound post-election audit standards, including risk-limiting audits, at the state and local level.
Citizen Observation — recruiting and supporting trained volunteers who observe polling places, canvassing, and audit procedures firsthand.
Research & Analysis — publishing methodological research on election verification tools, from exit polling to statistical anomaly detection to equipment security.
Legislative Tracking — monitoring state and federal proposals affecting election administration, paper record requirements, and audit standards.
Public Education — producing accessible resources that explain how elections actually work, so more voters can meaningfully participate in oversight of the process.
New projects are added as needs and opportunities arise. If you have expertise, time, or ideas to contribute, we welcome your involvement.
