EAC announces the Voting Technology and Accessibility Research-Military Heroes Initiative [34]
This $500,000 grant competition is focused on improving voting technology and accessibility for recently injured military personnel. The research will result in a better understanding of how to enhance, augment, and develop voting equipment and improve election processes and voting technology needed for this population and others with disabilities. During the next few weeks, the EAC expects to announce plans for the remaining voting access grant funds appropriated by Congress. EAC, FEC and the OAS cooperate to organize the Seventh Inter-American Meeting of Electoral Management Bodies [35]
