Pima, AZ Lawsuit Seeks Release of Raw Vote Data
Submitted by EDA on Fri, 11/30/2007 - 12:18pm
Tuesday, December 4th, 2007 at 8:30 a.m.
Pima County Superior Court
Judge Michael Miller 6th Floor
110 West Congress
Tucson, Arizona
If you are in the Tucson area, please attend this trial in a show of support for transparent, honest elections.
"Plaintiff's attorney Bill Risner--representing the local Democratic Party--seeking secure outside oversight of vote-counting procedures, will ask the court to order the Pima County Elections Department to provide copies of its election databases to all major political parties."
The "election databases" in other words, that contain the actual votes, which the Elections Department is trying to keep secret from the voting public.
The investigative team that brought this case to court is led by EDA Investigator John Brakey and Jim March, Blackboxvoting board member
If this lawsuit succeeds in its aim, this will be a groundshaking precedent in overturning the secrecy lockdown imposed by computerized voting systems that control about 98.5% of all American votes.
